I’ve had a horrid week on all fronts so even the smallest thing that made me smile was appreciated. I had bookmarked this Cadbury advert when a friend sent me the link and found myself returning to it a lot this week. Something about a gorilla + Phil Collins music= happiness. 

By a vote of 4-3, the Connecticut Supreme Court has ruled that prohibiting same-sex marriages violates the state constitution and that civil union laws are not providing homosexual couples with the same rights as heterosexual couples. 
Three states down (assuming California’s stays put), forty seven to go.
