Tomorrow night’s debate (the actual topic of which is the economy) will be John McCain’s last chance to bring up Bill Ayers to Barack Obama’s face.  Obama (and Joe Biden) have essentially encouraged McCain to do just that- knowing that it will give Obama a chance to calmly dismiss the accusations while McCain looks like he’s grasping at straws to distract people from his lack of economic skills.

The creativity of the Obama campaign never ceases to amaze me.  Via TPM, we see that Barack Obama is now buying virtual ad space in online games:

I stumbled upon this artist while looking at whale-related art after seeing some big great painted whales on the side of the San Francisco Aquarium.  I’ve always been a sucker for giant squid b-movie plot devices, so the feature seemed a natural move.  From there I discovered another print that I really enjoyed, which I’d be tempted to spring for the original if it was a little less dear or I was a little more flush.  Either way, enjoy.  Her originals are acrylic on canvas, reproductions are printed on canvas …
