When the election was announced in favor of Barack Obama Tuesday night, I sent a text message out that said: “We did it! America got one right!” And we did get that one- the choice of president- right. The Democrats picked up some Senate seats; Kay Hagan took her seat from Elizabeth Dole, showing that deceptive and malicious attack ads aren’t what people want right now. There was much to celebrate.
