Kitsune Yume wasn’t going to let his medical condition (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) get in the way of his gaming (namely, Final Fantasy 13). He teamed up with Broadened Horizons (a company that designs products for those that have upper extremity mobility limitations) and Mark Felling of Gimp Gear to create a game controller that would fit his needs without compromising game play. The controller “uses movements of his tongue and sips or puffs of air in straws to control games. Fingers and toes help round out many of the other controls.”

I always have good intentions when it comes to sending out holiday cards. I make a list of recipients in early November and do some window shopping as to what sort of cards I’d like to buy in early December. Then I completely forget about it until sometime in mid January.
