I’ve been watching/reading everything I can about the plane that crashed into the Hudson River. It is very rare that breaking news stories are positive pieces and rarer still that a plane crash is able to deliver the warm fuzzies.
The survival of everyone aboard US Airways Flight 1549 was due to three factors: an incredible pilot with the right training, a plane model better equipped to a water landing and the crew and passengers that were able to be calm and organized enough to get everyone to safety.
