Australia Fire Updates: Link Roundup

The death toll from the fires now stands at 181, though that number is expected to rise.  The Red Cross appeal has raised $31 million so far. 

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has vowed that the destroyed towns will be rebuilt. Premier John Brumby says “[m]oney no issue” in Victoria rebuild.

23 fires are still burning.
