Or so sayeth Moody’s, they of the questionable ratings practices. Moody’s tends to lag behind when it comes to downgrading ratings so this “substantial increase” of near-defaulters might be padded with companies that have been in trouble for a longer period of time but were just downgraded. But the news is still grim.

I’m not a lawyer, nor have I ever played one on TV, but I have to think that, if you were a plaintiff bringing suit, you would not want the very first sentence of the judge’s decision to read like this:

Steve Wozniak is appearing on this season of Dancing with the Stars. Engadget posted video of Woz’s first dance, which began with him wearing a feather boa. One of the judges likened his performance to “watching a Teletubby going mad”. While there is some accuracy in that assesment, Woz looks so damn enthusiastic during the dance that you can’t help rooting for the guy. Bless his heart.
