The categories on the Archie McPhee website tell you what kind of store it is. There is “Zombies & Monsters”, “Unicorns & Fairies”, “Pirates & Ninjas”, “Monkeys”, “Bacon, Meat and Sushi” and many more. Because I’m me, this post is going to focus on the first category. Because zombies and monsters rule.
I have to admit that Ramesh Ponnuru keeps suckering me in with his skillful imitation of a rational human being. He’s almost always able to pull it off for a few paragraphs, keeping me reading right up to the point where the stupid/crazy kicks in. Case in point: this little ditty from yesterday, in which he offers some analysis of the current Limbrouhaha the Republicans have walked themselves into:
I have only mentioned Meghan McCain- daughter of John and Cindy- once on Moue and that was to highlight her recent comments on Ann Coulter as our Quote of the Day. McCain had written a piece for The Daily Beast that included the following about Coulter.

Chuck Norris for President…of Texas: I’m not going to make any of the requisite Chuck Norris jokes because I’ve found him much less amusing since I realized he was insane. His latest mental break features his bid to become president of the Lone Star state if it were to secede:
As the number of foreclosures go up and up, so does the number of homeless, including a large increase in the number of homeless families. And as much as we’d all like to shove the homeless off to some remote corner and pretend that they don’t exist, when there are this many, that gets hard to do. They have to go somewhere.
