“Vincent” was a short film created by Tim Burton when he was still working at Walt Disney Animation Studios. The stop motion animation short featured a seven year old boy named Vincent who thought that he was Vincent Price. Price- a longtime hero of Burton’s- narrated the film and this pairing began a friendship that would last until Price’s death. Price is also the reason that Burton decided to make Ed Wood, as he saw some parallels between his relationship with Price and Wood’s relationship with Bela Lugosi. A few flaws in that comparison (Price lived a happy life until the end and wasn’t an addict, Burton is well respected in his time) but whatever.

Because my internet was out most of yesterday, I have a sinus infection, and AIG continues to be a catastrophe….
“Give it Back” Bill Passes House: With a vote of 328-93, the bill passed in the House yesterday that would put a 90% tax on bonuses given to employees earning over $250,000 at companies that receive over $5 billion in bailout funds. Republicans were split with 85 for (including Eric Cantor) and 87 against. Six Democrats voted nay.
