Yeah, I did notice how random Bubastis was. I actually turned to my friend and said, in summary, “That’s Bubastis. She’s Ozy’s genetically engineered pet”. I would’ve liked more Bubastis.

Did anyone else notice how random Bubastis was?

Without the explanation of genetic research (needed for the whole giant quid thing) it just appeared at the end with no explanation.

I just told a friend through email that Ozzy was as subtle as a Scooby Doo villain. But good Rorschach was enough to outweigh bad Ozy for me.

I was also very unhappy with Ozymandias for the exact same reasons. I hate to use the word “sinister” but he was almost sinister looking, not clean enough. Poor casting in that case, otherwise great adaptation…

…although I felt that sex scene was laughably bad (like something out of skinemax)and that Dan and Laurie were a bit too good at kicking bad guy ass. Still, overall very enjoyable.
