In March, less than two months after being elected RNC chair, indications were made that Michael Steele would be taking a less public role- meaning, the powers that be were going to keep his babbling insanity away from microphones and video cameras. As with many other tasks, the RNC failed at this task and Steele continues to delight the rest of us with his musings.
