I have to admit I’ve never been much of a fan of reality TV; this can probably be put down to the fact that, after spending a few years in politics, watching a pack of attention-starved sociopaths stab each other in the back for the sake of more camera time kind of loses its novelty value.
But I do love me some Britain’s Got Talent.

Dr. George Tiller, one of only three doctors providing late-term abortions in the country, was shot and murdered yesterday. Amazingly, this was done in his church, where he serves as an usher.

An Air France flight that took off from Rio de Janeiro this morning has disappeared during its path to Paris. There are 228 passengers on board. The plane was reporting electrical malfunctions before it disappeared off radars. Brazil has sent out two air force squads to search.
