For those who were not born in the 80s and raised by the accompanying television programs, the show Eerie, Indiana was a bit like The X Files for preteens. Eerie, as the title suggests, is the town in Indiana where the show takes place. And it is a very peculiar town where Bigfoot goes through the trash cans and Tupperware parties get very, very evil. I was in love with Omri Katz for about five years thanks to this show and Hocus Pocus.

On May 28th, Officer Omar Edwards was shot and killed while out of uniform by fellow officer Andrew Dunton. Edwards is black, Dunton is white.

I’ll be back to posting on Monday after this much needed break. I’m not sure what sort of posting schedule I’ll maintain yet but I’m going to be working blogging around my life rather than vice versa so that I can maintain what sanity I have left.
