Indie Retailer Review: The Bath Project

8 June 2009 No Comment

icecreampartyI was lucky enough to receive two products from The Bath Project to review: the Ice Cream Party Sugar Body Scrub and the Ice Cream Party Shea Stick. The two products share a similar scent that is described by the manufacturer as being vanilla ice cream mixed with sugar cone but reminded me more of vanilla cake with frosting (which isn’t a bad thing).

The products arrived a little melty which was more the fault of my mailman, who left the box in my black mailbox on a 95 degree day. But I popped them both in the freezer for a couple of hours and they returned to their intended consistencies.

The Body Scrub is a great exfoliating product and a little bit goes a long way. It rinses off easily and leaves the skin looking– and feeling– rejuvenated.  My skin leans towards the dry side so I applied the Shea Stick immediately after rinsing off the Scrub. It does well even on very dry patches and the scent, while noticeable and yummy, is mild enough that it didn’t set off my hyperactive allergies.

Grab them for yourself:

Ice Cream Party Body Scrub,  4 oz. for $6.50

Ice Cream Party Shea Stick, 1 oz. for $6.00
