The Location:
Lubumbashi, the second largest city in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has served as the backdrop for many of the region’s genocidal civil war actions. The city has hundreds of street children and NGO’s like the Bakanja Centre exist to provide them with food, clothing and a place to sleep.
