I’m really in the weeds with my actual, paying job at the moment so the blog posting might be light today. And by “might” I mean “will be”.

Is kgb really the best name for a text trivia service?

I’ll be back to posting on Monday after this much needed break. I’m not sure what sort of posting schedule I’ll maintain yet but I’m going to be working blogging around my life rather than vice versa so that I can maintain what sanity I have left.

I need to step away from the Moue for a bit to clear my head. At best, it will be a couple of days. At worst, it will be permanent. I’ll pop back in within a day or two and let you know which seems more likely. Expect posting to be very light this week.

Nancy Drew and the Secret of the 3 Black Robes , a full length column in the NY Times that is dedicated to the fact that Judge Sotomayor and Justices O’Connor and Ginsburg enjoyed reading Nancy Drew books.

This has been another rough news week so it feels necessary to bring some color into this digital home with a video stock full of 80’s movie dancing. The song is Phoenix’sLisztomania and, while the video is an unofficial fan-made affair, the band has said they prefer it to the official offering.

Holiday weekends are good times to be lazy, crashed on the couch with your laptop and a marathon of the really cheesy SciFi channel original movies on the television. I haven’t been gaming much lately because I don’t have the time to really invest in a Half Life 2 or a Left 4 Dead. But I am master of the little online games that you start playing because the levels are relatively short, causing you to say to yourself: “Self, I’ll play two rounds then get back to work.” Only a good portion of the time, those two rounds turn into 45 minutes of game play when you really should be doing something else.

I was just glancing at our Twitter stats (that thing in the box over there on the right) and having a look at who’s following us.
