Well, who woulda thunk it? Canadian politics is actually interesting at the moment — really interesting, as PM Stephen Harper is trying desperately to avoid being force-fed his own political entrails:

“There is no precedent whatsoever in Canada and probably in the Commonwealth,” said Ned Franks, a constitutional scholar and political scientist. “We are in uncharted territory.”
