		<description><![CDATA[Plan 9 From Outer Space gets a bad rap. It is nowhere close to being the worst movie ever made (my vote for that would be I Spit On Your Grave). The plot, while imperfect, makes sense within the confines of the film and the acting is quite good compared to many of the B movie babies it spawned. The movie is even a bit heartbreaking at times when Bela Lugosi is on the screen. if you know the backstory (that he was late in his life and struggling with a serious drug addiction).

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>Plan 9 From Outer Space</em> gets a bad rap. It is nowhere close to being the worst movie ever made (my vote for that would be <em>I Spit On Your Grave</em>). The plot, while imperfect, makes sense within the confines of the film and the acting is quite good compared to many of the B movie babies it spawned. The movie is even a bit heartbreaking at times when Bela Lugosi is on the screen. if you know the backstory (that he was late in his life and struggling with a serious drug addiction). </p>
<p>Ed Wood is remembered for his inattention (or ignorance) of small details like wobbling gravestones or a police officer repeatedly pointing his gun at himself. But they add to the charm of the film rather than detract from it. And if you think modern day films don&#8217;t have similar errors, you haven&#8217;t read the Goofs pages at IMDB. </p>
