QI is a British trivia panel show that I have become absolutely obsessed with. I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago and have already watched nearly every episode that is available online. It is hosted by the amazing Stephen Fry (actor/comedian/master of language) with comedian Alan Davies as his permanent panelist/foil. Three other comedians appear in each episode, most of whom would not be familiar to an American audience. Exceptions are Clive Anderson (who hosted the original version of Whose Line is it Anyway that aired here on Comedy Central in the 90s) and Rich Hall. You may not recognize Rich Hall but once you know that he's the basis for Moe on The Simpsons, the familiarity will sink in.

QI stands for “Quite Interesting” and more points are given to panelists for interesting answers than for technically correct ones. The trivia tends to get fairly obscure, which has inspired me to bouts of quoting random trivia at my friends that don’t watch the show.

I had to use this clip just because Stephen Fry says “funbags”. The panelists are Rich Hall, Sean Locke, Jo Brand and Alan Davies:
